Service Areas – Chatham-Kent & Nearby Communities

Our crews are based in Chatham, Ontario and primarily serve Chatham-Kent and surrounding communities between Lake Erie, Lake St. Clair and the Thames River. Travel is always discussed up front so there are no surprises.

The list below highlights common areas we work in and the types of water, mold or fire issues we most often see there. It is not a complete map, but a realistic picture of where we can usually respond.

How We Decide Whether We Can Take a Project

We are honest about what we can and cannot do. It is better to be clear up front than to overpromise in the middle of an emergency.

  • Distance and travel time: we consider how long it will realistically take to reach you, especially in poor weather.
  • Size of the loss: some projects are too small or too large for our team; in those cases we will say so.
  • Current workload: during regional storms, we may be at capacity and unable to accept additional work until existing clients are stable.
  • Health and safety constraints: certain structural or contamination conditions may require resources beyond what we provide.

If we cannot reasonably respond, we will tell you that directly rather than leaving you waiting without clear information.

What You Can Expect When We Do Respond

Whether we are in Chatham, Wallaceburg, Dresden or along the lakes, the basic approach is similar: understand the conditions, stabilize things and then plan next steps with you.

  • Initial walk-through: a calm, methodical look at affected rooms and obvious sources of water, smoke or contamination.
  • Discussion in plain language: we explain what we are seeing without jargon, and we listen to your priorities.
  • Reasonable first steps: focus on safety, preventing further damage and documenting what has already occurred.
  • Transparent scope: we outline what we can do ourselves and where other trades or specialists may be required.

Our role is to be both practical and realistic – especially when multiple parties are involved, such as insurers, landlords, tenants or neighbours.
